HISTORY
Henrietta Sarah Hulet From Kuki's records:
Spent her maiden life along the Susquehanna River. After James died, Henrietta made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Walter J. Houghton. This does not seem to have been Nellie, as she died in 1880. Henrietta died at Artly's in Seattle. According to Nettie, in Tukwila (Tuck Willow?), South Seattle. She had been staying with Artly since November. Her death was due to a paralytic stroke, which she suffered on Sunday, 13 Apr, & died the following Wednesday. From Frank Rosin, 8/22/89: Evidently buried at a cemetery in West Seattle. Along with Barbara P. and another infant. From Frank Rosin, 1-31-90: From 1910 census, 6 children born, 5 living. Page 12 of Bernece's photo album in the possession of Carol Warner, photo 3, far right. Says, "Net Hulet Bartron Art Bartron Tukwila, WN. 1917." Has she just arrived from somewhere or is just leaving? Art is holding a piece of luggage, which indicates that someone is going or coming. It seemas as though this is Henrietta Hulet. Information from Frank says that she died in Tukwila in 1918. So she is arrivin here and will die in a year. Net or Nettie seems to be a nickname for women called Henrietta. --recorded by Brian Warner |
