She attended Holy Family Church and School. She worked for Cussins & Fearn Co., Division of Water, City of Columbus. She reared Julia Elizabeth MURNANE as Julia was only 7 years old when her parents died. Dorothy was 17. She determined to raise Julia to age 21. To Dorothy this meant to Julia's 22nd birthday. Dorothy would not marry until Julia was raised. She was a beautiful homemaker and a wonderful cook; famous for her Wesley Fudge Nut Cake and Angel Food Cakes. She loved to read and loved her children and grandchildren. She was 5'1" tall and had brown hair and blue eyes. Hair grayed at about 33 years old. (As told and remembered by Joanne E. COCHRAN)
